Progress (Alfred workshop)
Work has begun at Alfred
Workshop at Alfred University
I’m participating in Walter McConnell’s summer workshop called “Big Clay: Raw”. I’m so ridiculously excited to be here at Alfred. It’s only Day 1, and I already feel completely at home. Walter showed us some images of contemporary ceramics and gave us a demonstration of a variety of techniques we could use on our assignment: a large, raw clay installation in the ceramics gallery.
“Watch” at the Art Gallery of Burlington
I’d like to invite you to the second opening of my show at the Art Gallery of Burlington (formerly the Burlington Arts Centre). The reception for “Watch”, an installation of 7 life-size ceramic figures, is this Sunday June 22, from 2 -4 pm. I will be doing a walk-and-talk in the courtyard starting around 2pm, during which you may find out more about my work.
The “Watch” has begun
The AGB has opened with the “Watch” collection in their courtyard.
There will be a second opening later in June (or early July) where I will likely be giving a walk-and-talk tour of the exhibition. I’ll keep you posted.
